This is an example of the 80s cafe bar renovation. The cafe bar was never truly renovated. The main aim was to improve functionality of the space - the old bar was too big and there was not enough seating space.
It was decided to leave the storage, personal area and the toilets as they were.
Only the floor was changed in the storage and personal area.
The job was actually reduced to adapting the small area around the bar, and the bar itself.
To create more seating space, we had to reduce the bar area to the minimum.
All the machines and technical parts have find its place in new bar area, and the whole new seating area was created - the bench and the low seaters as well as few more bar stools.
When it comes to style, we chose to go with retro and elegant - terrazzo tiles, mustard coloured fabrics and golden lamps do the job very well.
